Nowadays, the company oversees its global operations from its base at Ingolstadt, Bavaria, Germany. As for its famous logo, the four interlinked rings, each represents one of four car companies that joined together to create the forerunner of Audi, Auto Union. As for their well-known slogan Vorsprung durch Technik, it means "advancement through technology".
